1. Galaxy S III:

The first in the list. This year we have experienced many goodies from the home of Samsung. And another big one is ready. Samsung is supposedly to announce the launch of Galaxy S III at the Mobile World Congress in February. I could dig out few specification of of this phone; it is going to have quad-core processor, Ice Cream Sandwich, 720p screen and 3D will enable to integrate TVs.

2. Apple iPad 3:

After the dominance of Apple iPad2 in the tablet market round the globe, sold like a soft-drink. Now its next version Apple iPad 3 is set for release. About the release date of this piece of machine is till a mystery. But with some online reports we could find that it would be released on the eve of its founder birth anniversary Steve Jobs i.e., on 24th February 2012. Apple iPad3 is expected to become a bit thicker for supporting its twin light bar system needed for its higher-resolution display. It may come with an quad core A6 processor.

3. Aakash 2:

Which would better be known as Ubislate 7+. This Indian full ‘Desi’ tablet is expected to release this January itself. Its already considered as the common mans tablet with is ultra low price.

4. Nokia Lumia 900:

Next up in the list is a phone, possibly the third Windows enables phone from one of the largest mobile phone manufacturer worldwide. This device is expected to be released at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

As I said it would be a Windows phone with Tango Update, Front camera, 10.7cm ALMOND display, 1.4GHz processor, rear camera would be 8MP with single LED flash. Rumors are that it would be a $G enabled phone. This is not the only surprise, we can expect many more goodies from the company along with this.

After a long working session who would not like to have a stress busting games with qHD screen which almost feels like real. Yes, Sony is all set for the launch of it Play Station Vita with quad-core graphics processor, which can even beat the iPad 2. This would have both the touch controls and the dual analogue sticks, to keep its wide range of users happy.

6. Reliance 4G Tab:

I think that the run for the cheapest tab has already begun with the announcement of launch of Aakash Tab for Rs 2500. Now the Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries Ltd has revealed its idea of launching a tab with high speed connectivity, this would be really high speed with 4G technology. RIL is probably the first company to announce the launch of 4G network in India. The company has announced to launch its 4G data card by the mid of 2012. This tab would come for a price as low as Rs 3500 with high speed 4G connectivity, what else a geek would need.

7. Kindle Fire:

There were rumors that Amazon is working on tablets with two different sizes one is17.8cm and the other one 25.4cm. In the recent past we could see the release of the smaller one, this year it is expected that the larger version will be out in the market.

8. Ice Cream Sandwich:

Finally the Ice Cream Sandwich i.e., Andriod 4.0 is out in the market. After the flaws of the Honeycomb OS and its upgrade, this one is expected to be better. This could be supported in both the Smart phones and the tablets. Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime will be one of the first tablets to get the upgrade, followed by many others.

Apple tv was already released on 9 January 2007, now its the time for the Apple TV set. Apple TV set would be powered by the Apple’s mobile OS, the iOS.

10. XBOX 360 update:

After the announcement about the launch of PlayStation vita and Nintendo’s Wii U, how can the XBOX will lag behind.The company has announced the release of the upgraded version of the XBOX 360 this year. Apart form the typical gaming device this gadget would have a social essence including the cloud service for saving the games. It would also enable the user to share their XBOX profile on facebook with enhanced family settings, Bing voice search.
